With the warmer weather (aka no more weeks of snow one day, 70 degree weather 2 days later. Welcome to the weather patterns of Western North Carolina!) and honestly the fact that multiple times I have sat down in jeans only to have to unbutton the button to stop the pain of too-tight wasteband, I begin a diet.
Yea i said it, the dreaded “d” word.
My internet friend Echo introduced me to a website called SparkPeople.com where for FREE you can sign up for a ton of information and track your progress with both your eating and exersize program. I am totally stoked and hope this is the motovation I have needed! Plus you can join different teams, I am in the Single Parents and North Carolina teams. So far today i have only consumed about 900 calories (my goal is to stay within 1200-1500 per day) and so far have drank 5 of my 8 cups of water.
Then tonight while Nathan is at baseball practice, I am walking the trail at the Rec park with Tracie and the doggies. Goal is to walk for 1 hour, but I need to see how many calories that will burn.
Walking is about the best exersize I can do right now because I have knee damage from rodeo and well, it is easier! I just purchased my first pair of walking shoes while at Wally World on my lunch break. And if that is not motovation, while I was there I ran into a guy I knew from about a year ago and he asked for my phone number.
Yea, I think I need to burn some fat baby!!!
