Born in Puyallup, Washington on August 28th at 6:40 am
My Dad did about 90 MPH down the freeway to get my mom to the hospital, think he was a bit nervous?
I have no full blooded siblings, but I have a older half-sister from my father’s side and 2 older half-brothers from my mom’s side.
Parents divorced when I was 5, lived with mom and saw Dad every other weekend.
I competed in rodeo for several years, gave it up because of school and a lingering knee injury.
Traded in my saddle and cowboy boots for formal gowns and big hair to compete in pageants in jr. high and high school. Competed in 5 pageants and only won in 1, Miss Southwest Tacoma.
My worst illness ever was during my sophomore year. I had 4 different illnesses, had an alergic reaction to some of the medication I was on and as a result, my spleen enlarged and I ran the risk of it bursting. I was out of school for a month and at one point could not walk on my own. It was horrible and I thank God I survived!
I had hoped I could go to college right after high school, but got married instead. Totally dumb move on my part. But I was a typical hard-headed 18 year old who knew it all. Duh, not so much!
Got out of that when I was 22 and spent the next 4 years “catching up” by just working, hanging out with friends, and dancing 3-4 nights a week at a country music bar. But it gave me a great, down to earth set of loyal friends and got me back down to a size 8!
Went back to church when in 1997 and was baptized as a Southern Baptist on Easter Sunday 1997, met my son’s father there and we got married in that church in July 1998
Nathan followed 17 months later on December 1999
Became a Army wife in August 2000 when Chris enlisted
Got stationed at Ft. Polk, Louisiana 1 year later.
We drove from Washington to Louisiana in July, through the widest part of Texas no less! It was miserably hot and humid, but we drive through the town of Quanah, Texas the home of Lane Frost.
Louisiana in a nut shell: hot, constant fairs and festivals, hot, unique food selections, hot, and loved every minute of being there, but did I mention it was hot?
This is where I lived through the terror of September 11th, on a Army base no less.
Moved to NC in January of 2002
Met my best friend, Tracie, when we became neighbors.
Finally fulfilled my dream of going to college in 2002
Hope to graduate in May 2008
My motivation for school was to graduate, move to Nashville and go into the music industry.
God changed plans! Now living in a great mountain town, completing school, being a learn-as-I-go Christian, mom to a almost 9 year old.
I now work almost full time as a Office Manager for a Modular Home Company.
I still believe that Kenny Chesney is the finest male specimen that God ever gave the human female.

So now it has been remedied, and I just wanted to say glad to meetcha!
